Marilyn Jean Webster, age 83, of Coweta, OK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Today, the world lost one of the greatest women. Marilyn was truly the best at almost everything. She had an incredible gift for creating—able to make almost anything out of almost anything. A loving wife for 65 years, she was fiercely devoted to her family and especially proud of being a “boy mom.” Her sons were raised to be respectful, independent, and capable—taught how to cook, sew, clean, help others, and to always retain a healthy respect for their strong, 100-pound mother.
Marilyn was an extraordinary grandmother who lovingly passed down her remarkable baking skills, her passion for crafting, and her joy of creating. She loved to travel and found great fulfillment in giving back to others through volunteer work. Even as her health declined, Marilyn continued to volunteer one day a week at OBI for as long as she was able. Prior to COVID, she faithfully volunteered three days a week.
She was strong-willed and stubborn in the very best ways, traits that defined her determination and independence. A lifelong and devoted San Francisco 49ers fan, Marilyn followed her team with enthusiasm and pride.
For nearly three years, Marilyn bravely faced illness and a rapid decline in health. Fully aware of her condition, she made her wishes clear—she wanted to remain at home, cared for by her beloved husband, Lee, whom she lovingly called “Pops.” He wanted nothing more than to care for her himself. Together, they were granted that wish. Lee lovingly cared for Marilyn at home until he could no longer do so, and she remained where she wanted to be, surrounded by love. This shared devotion has brought their family peace, laughter, and cherished memories of a life that will never be forgotten.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Lee Webster; her sons, Walt Webster and his wife Annette, and Timothy Webster and his wife Crystal; and her treasured grandchildren, Ryan Webster and Holly Webster.
There are no services planned at this time for Marilyn.
