MARIO J., Jr. Age 68, August 22, 2023. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Marchetti (nee Wagner). Devoted father of Mario J. Marchetti, III (Fran), Joseph Marchetti and Marc Marchetti, Sr. (Celeste Cerino). Loving grandfather of Mario J. Marchetti, IV, Marc Anthony Marchetti, Jr., Nadia Marchetti, Olivia Marchetti, Vienna Marchetti, and Joseph Otschir Marchetti. Dear brother of Rosemarie DeVito, also survived by many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Mario loved life to the fullest. Family was most important to him especially his grandchildren. Spending time in Wildwood with family during the summer was very important. He loved playing poker and going to the Casino. His favorite toy was his Dodge Challenger which he loved to drive.
St. Monica Father and Sons was very special to Mario. He enjoyed being active with his sons and the other men and boys of the club over the many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Monday morning, August 28th, 8:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232-2240 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.)
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets.
Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
