It is your 73rd birthday today, June 12, 2025. It is impossible to describe how alone I feel without you. You were the best companion, sweety, such a joy. And so loving to me.
Now, Lorraine is gone and I miss her so much too. Through her I felt closer to you, and she herself was a gift.
Let this be a record of my great love.

Dear Mario,
As the years go by I find myself reflecting on the profound impact you have had on my life. You were not just a boss, but a mentor, a guiding light, and a beacon of compassion in a world often fraught with chaos and indifference.
In our large company environment, you stood out not only for your exceptional skills as a leader but for your unwavering decency and kindness. You led our team with grace and wisdom, always fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect.
But beyond the professional realm, it was your character that left the deepest impression on me. You were a scholar and a gentleman in every sense of the word.
Your patience, empathy, and genuine concern for others, including your love of our four-legged companions, set you apart.
I'll never forget the countless lessons I learned from you during our time together, NEMA diagrams included.
Your words of wisdom still resonate with me, guiding my decisions and shaping my interactions with others. You taught me the power of a kind word or gesture.
Today your memory remains as vivid as ever in my mind, heart, and soul.
Whenever I think of you, a smile inevitably crosses my face, as I recall the warmth of your presence and the depth of your compassion.
Rest in peace, dear Mario. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Just yesterday thoughts of Mario, a wonderful man and rare gem of a person, came to mind. I have been so blessed and feel so fortunate to have known him, if even for a brief time when he led a small team of writers at a big company undergoing change.
Mario wanted those around him to succeed. As the team lead, he always took the time to share his knowledge, to inform and educate, and make you feel welcome and valued. He explained things in intricate detail to ensure you understood how to approach every project, sketching out circuitry diagrams with the precision of a surgeon and commenting on your submissions with the handwriting of an artist. He made the workplace fun, leading with empathy before it became fashionable. What a special person who made such a lasting impression on so many of us.
Mario, you are missed.

Mario was a longtime colleague and dear friend. I always enjoyed his great stories such as working together during the day while Mario flew a commercial cargo plane during the evening. Mario will be sorely missed and always remembered. My condolences to Charlotte, his family & many friends.
