A mechanic's gift, beyond compare.
Books and pages fed your mind,
In politics, truths you sought to find.
Through faithful service on each route,
A courier's duty you carried out.
Beside you always, loyal and true,
The animals you loved, they cherished you.
But nothing shone more clear in sight,
Than family's bond, your soul's delight.
A daughter's love, a guiding star,
And Michael's laughter never far.
Grandson and grandfather, hand in hand,
Together you built a timeless strand.
Though roads may end, and pages close,
Your legacy in each heart still grows.
A life well lived, sincere and pure,
