Marion Shirohl Dave Edwards, affectionately known as "Biggz", was born in Hartford, CT on September 26, 1998, to Wayne Edwards and Krystal Riley. Marion Edwards, the beloved son, father, brother, grandson, boyfriend, cousin, uncle, and nephew passed away from this life on July 18, 2023, at the age of 24.
Marion attended school in Bloomfield, CT. He was a very athletic child and enjoyed playing basketball, lacrosse, football, and boxing. He enjoyed growing up surrounded by his dad and close family in Bloomfield and Windsor, CT. He was deeply loved by his grandparents Kenneth and Barbara Edwards. Marion loved fashion, was always well-dressed, and had a great sense of humor.
Marion was loved fiercely by his family, girlfriend Da'ni Bowers, the mother of his three beloved children Pai'Tyn, Paisley, and McKenzie. Marion loved his siblings Shanyel Riley, Luis Sanchez, Zana Hardy, Makhi Ettienne-Modeste, and Amyra Ettienne-Modeste (who he affectionately called "baby sister"). Marion had a close bond with his cousins, Rochelle Callender and Daniel Anderson, who he referred to as his sister and brother.
Marion is survived by his dad and stepmother, Wayne Edwards and Joy-Lynn Hardy, his mother, Krystal Riley, his grandmother Barbara Edwards, Da'ni Bowers and his 3 beautiful daughters, his siblings, his aunts Yvette Edwards, Rhonda Riley, Regina Riley, and Wilena Riley; uncles Perrol Henry, and Joseph Edwards; nephews Jaden Sanchez and Zane Atkinson; nieces Aniyah Sanchez and Aracelli Sanchez as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends. He is predeceased by grandparents Kenneth Edwards, Charlie Riley and Iola Riley, Aunt Marva Edwards, and Uncle Dave Edwards who inspired Marion's middle name.
