Marion was born December 7, 1935, in Tuscaloosa, AL, to Wilbur Sr. and Zuella (Russ) Davis, who preceded him in death.
Marion was a proud United States Army Veteran during WWII. He was an avid fisherman and he was always happiest with a fishing pole in his hand. Marion enjoyed going for walks, working outside, and spending time with his family.
Marion is survived by his children, Pearl Cuffy, Melvin Green, Kevin, and Melissa; siblings, Bonita Beauford, Rosalyn Chatman, and Maurice Davis and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Marica Carter, Linda Jenkins, and Pearl Johnson; brother, Wilbur Davis, Jr., and his brother-in-law, Rodney Beauford.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATIONS SERVICES - EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Military honors will be performed at 12:00 PM by the active duty Army and VFW Post #1275.
