Marion F. Feuerstein, age 95, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born on May 10, 1930, to the late Alois and Arvilla (Paulu) Kinstetter. She graduated from Casco High School in 1947 and was salutatorian of her class. On August 25, 1954, she married Eugene E. Feuerstein at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee. He passed away in 2020.

Marion was first employed at the State Bank of Kewaunee and then worked numerous jobs through the years while raising a family and working with her husband on the farm. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing clarinet in the Algoma Community Band, playing cards in their card clubs and polka dancing with the Happy Hoppers. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved to bake, cook and sew for them. She was also involved in St. Mary’s Rosary Society, volunteering at the Algoma Chamber of Commerce and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Forestville. Mom had a very busy and full life.

Marion is survived by her children, Jean Rankin, Algoma, Patricia (Loren) Grothe, Scandia, MN, Diane (Sam) Pinkham, Egg Harbor, Michael (Kathy) Feuerstein, Algoma, Thomas Feuerstein, Algoma; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister Judy (Wayne) Kuehl; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; brother Richard (Carol) Kinstetter; brothers-in-law Leonard (Marie) Feuerstein, Joseph Feuerstein, and Donald Kuehl; sister-in-law Coletta (George) Winnekins; daughter-in-law Beth Feuerstein; and two grandsons.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church – Algoma. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Peter Onyango officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the Feuerstein family. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
