Marion G. (Robertson) Mayerhofer, age 91, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Arbor Lane Assisted Living in Burnsville, MN.
Marion was born in St. Paul, MN, on May 17, 1933, the daughter of Raymond and Gertrude (Schwartz) Robertson. She was married to Hilmar M. Mayerhofer for 52 years.
For 34 years, she was an employee of Interlachen Country Club in Edina, MN, working her way up to the main dining room manager – until 1992. Marion was also a member of Saints Joachim and Anne for many years, there she was also a member of Council of Catholic Women and the Catholic Aid Association; charter member of NAMI of Scott County and served as Secretary and Treasurer for 20 years.
Some of Marion's interests included cooking, reading, traveling, going to the cabin near Dassel with her family, playing Pinochle and Sheephead, doing puzzles, watching ice skating, and gardening.
Marion is survived by her sons, John (Cindy), Robert (Camille), and Lawrence (Tammy); grandchildren, Michael and Melissa, Matt, Kayla and Luke, Nicole and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Lily, Macy, Bradyn and Aubrianna, Alaric and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilmar; 3 infant children, MaryAnn, Vincent and Ronald; parents, Raymond and Gertrude Robertson; brothers and sisters, Stephen, Tom, Jerome, Roberta and Joanne.
Visitation Friday, May 9, 2025 from 9-11 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, all at Church of St. Mark, 350 Atwood Street South, Shakopee. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 10:30 AM, Assembly Area 6 (please arrive by 10:15 AM) In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
