It's with great sorrow that we announce our beloved Marion Rambough passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.
Marion was born on November 16, 1945 in Trenton, NJ. She was a proud graduate of the Trenton Public School System; furthering her education in the evenings while working in the daytime, she earned AA degree and BS degree in Accounting from Mercer Community College and the College of New of Jersey (formerly named Trenton State College). She was a dedicated and committed Auditor for the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation for 40 years until her retirement. She was a strong political advocate and would be seen and known to work the election polls during voting season.
Marion was affectionately known for her exceptional cooking and baking skills. She was a proud mother and grandmother who would attend sold-out comedy shows, basketball games, dance recitals and school concerts. She was their number #1 fan. Marion was affectionately known for her big Thanksgiving gatherings and summertime cookouts at her house. Making sure everyone was happy, eating good food, and spending family quality time brought her great joy. Marion always wanted the best for everyone and was always willing to assist you to make sure it happened. She loved playing spades, shopping, negotiating and debates. She attended all her family affairs and was affectionately known as "Cookie Lyons" because of her shades, fashion and accessories. She was a lovable, beautiful, intelligent and classy lady who lived a Good Life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Griffith Rambough and Marine Goolsby-Rambough; two sisters, Delores Rambough-McNeese and Barbarann Rambough-Crawford; and three brothers, John Rambough, Alrich "Albie" Rambough, and Blair Rambough.
Marion leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughter, Lori Rambough (Wayne); her son and daughter-in-law, Justin Walter and Jade Kimbrough; grandchildren, Skye Kimbrough, Justin Kimbrough, Jr., and Liam Smalls; a bonus daughter/niece, Michelle Rambough; two sisters, her twin - Marie Rambough and Joyce Rambough; one brother, Bryan Rambough (Julia); an aunt, Betty Goolsby; godson, Dwayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces, great-great nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives of whom she poured her love, education and cooking skills faithfully.
A special thank you to the caregivers, Nani, Mailika, Marie Jean, Idegla and her loving, caring sister Joyce who was always by her side.
