Marie Rambough Obituary

Marie Rambough, 79, departed this earthly life for eternal rest on November 10, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 16, 1945, in Trenton, NJ, where she was a lifelong resident. She was educated in the Trenton Public School System.
After receiving her education in the Trenton Public School System, Marie became a dedicated employee with Circle F Corporation in Trenton, NJ until the company closed. Shortly thereafter, she gained employment with Princeton University, where she served faithfully until her retirement. She received numerous certificates and recognition for perfect attendance during her tenure with Circle F Corporation and Princeton University.
Marie's love for her family was unmatched and she would talk on the phone for hours with her sisters and cousin. Family gatherings held a special place in her heart as they were perfect time to show off her culinary talent by serving her renowned and undeniable best macaroni salad. If music was playing you could catch her on the dance floor and her sisters following her lead. Marie was also an avid sports fan. She enjoyed boxing and would brag about her favorite boxer, Sugar Ray Leonard.
Affectionately known as "Rita-Ice" or Marie Ali", Marie's time was spent with her children - sitting and peeking out her front window and watching her Oak Street neighborhood (everyone knew she was in that window!). Marie did not play about her parking spot. If anyone parked in her spot, Marie was ready let them know that it was her spot (and she never had one permit). She was not deterred by her small stature. Standing at 4ft 11inches, she was a quietly powerful force and not one to cross. She was truly a loving mother, twin, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, and auntie and she will be greatly missed.
Marie was predeceased by her son, Roger Rambough; parents, Griffin Rambough and Marine Goolsby-Rambough; three sisters, Marion Rambough (her twin), Delores Rambough-McNeese, and Barbarann Rambough-Crawford; and three brothers, John Rambough, Alrich "Albie" Rambough, and Blair Rambough.
Marie leaves to cherish precious memories her personal caregiver and daughter, Michelle Rambough; son, Ronald Isaac Kariem Rambough; grandsons, Isiah Rambough, Hakeem Dockery, Koran Green, Donavan Rambough, and Ronald Isaac Rambough II; granddaughter, Laila Rambough; one great grandchild, K'Aori Muhammad; sister, Joyce Rambough; brother, Brian Rambough (Julia); one aunt, Betty Goolsby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
