Marion I. Schimpf

Marion I. Schimpf, 96, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away on November 4, 2025, at Moravian Manor in Lititz, PA. Marion was born on September 15, 1929, in Woodbridge to Errich and Margaret Nurnberger and lived in Fords for most of her life prior to retiring to Toms River, NJ, and Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was a Medical Secretary to Dr. Milton Bronstein and Administrator employed by the Edison Board of Education before retiring in 1999.
Marion is predeceased by her husband, George J. Schimpf, Sr., in 2017 and her brothers, Paul and Carl Nurnberger. Marion was blessed by God with good health and was inseparable from husband George throughout his lifetime.
She is survived by her son, George J. Schimpf, Jr. and his wife, Sharon and her daughter, Patricia Ann Pelc and her husband, Walter; three grandchildren: Adam and Alyson Schimpf, and Kristen (Pelc) Bolten; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by interment at 1 PM in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Wrightstown.
