Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Schoedel will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 4 until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Schoedel, 97, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Avondale Nursing Home.
She was born in Chicago, IL to the late Fred Schlosser and Hattie (Beilfus) Schlosser. Marion was a long time member of Central Avenue Christian Church in Humboldt, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis W. Schoedel; brothers, Fred, Frank, Jack, Richard, and Gene Schlosser.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Schoedel (Karen Wilson), Bill Schoedel (Diane); daughters, Joy Archer, Ruth Blankenship; sister, Shirley Hamilton; grandchildren, Holly Everett, Ben Schoedel, Will Archer; great-grandchildren, Issac, Jacob, and Gabe Everett, Saxon, Liam, Samara, Bannon, and Ronan Schoedel, Bryant Archer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Humboldt Area Rescue Squad, 2707 Eastend Drive, Humboldt, TN 38343 or Central Avenue Christian Church, 1501 Osborne Street, Humboldt, TN 38343
