Marjorie "Marge" (Clark) Baumunk, 95, of Canton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center in Montoursville.

Born January 15, 1930, in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Effie (Bates) Clark. Marjorie graduated from Canton High School with the Class of 1948. Just weeks later, on July 10, 1948, she married her soulmate, Prentice Baumunk. Together they built a loving home, raised two sons, and shared 76 years of marriage until Prentice's passing on October 2, 2024.

Marge dedicated 30 years of service to the former Acme Markets in Canton before retiring. She was a faithful member of the East Canton United Methodist Church, and in earlier years attended Lincoln Falls Wesleyan Church. She also belonged to the Canton Women of the Moose 981.

A woman of many talents, Marge enjoyed crafts, puzzles, knitting, and embroidery. Her flower gardens were a source of pride, always blooming with beauty. She cherished summers spent at Keuka Lake in her younger years and, more recently, treasured time at the family cabin in Elkland Township. Above all, Marge's greatest joy was her home and family, whom she loved deeply.

Marjorie leaves behind her sons; Larry (Rheda) Baumunk of Towanda and Garry (Kathy) Baumunk of Canton, grandchildren; Ann Bryan, Chad (Janelle) Baumunk, Jay Baumunk, Michael Baumunk and Fiancé Nancy, and Jason (Patty) Baumunk, great grandchildren; Logan, Ashely, Ethan, Miles, Kaytee and Kendra, great great grandchildren; Luca, Vincent, Giada and Sullivan, siblings; Elaine Morgan of Elmira and Harriet Carpenter of Williamsport as well as several nieces, nephews and cousin.

Besides her parents and husband Prentice, Marge was predeceased by a granddaughter; Janice Baumer, great granddaughter; Vayda Bryan, sister and brother in law; Charlene (John) Scholtz and brother in law; Donald Morgan.

A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. A celebration of Marjorie's life will follow at Noon. Burial in the Forksville Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
