Born January 15, 1930, in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Effie (Bates) Clark. Marjorie graduated from Canton High School with the Class of 1948. Just weeks later, on July 10, 1948, she married her soulmate, Prentice Baumunk. Together they built a loving home, raised two sons, and shared 76 years of marriage until Prentice's passing on October 2, 2024.
Marge dedicated 30 years of service to the former Acme Markets in Canton before retiring. She was a faithful member of the East Canton United Methodist Church, and in earlier years attended Lincoln Falls Wesleyan Church. She also belonged to the Canton Women of the Moose 981.
A woman of many talents, Marge enjoyed crafts, puzzles, knitting, and embroidery. Her flower gardens were a source of pride, always blooming with beauty. She cherished summers spent at Keuka Lake in her younger years and, more recently, treasured time at the family cabin in Elkland Township. Above all, Marge's greatest joy was her home and family, whom she loved deeply.
