Marjorie (Marge) Ann (McClory) Deary, 84, passed away Monday, March 24th, 2025, at her home in Nashua, NH, surrounded by family. She was born on March 22, 1941, in Lynn, MA to the late John and Lillian (Roussin) McClory. Marge was the oldest of ten children. Her remaining five siblings are very close and will miss her dearly.

Marge was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She was the dedicated wife of the late Thomas C. Deary. They were married on February 4, 1961 in Lynn, MA. Marge and Tom lived in Lynn, MA, where Tom worked at the General Electric plant and then as an IUE representative, while Marge stayed home with their three children. Being generous with her time, Marge volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Lynn for a time.

In 1980, Marge and Tom ventured north to Bethlehem, NH, where they owned and operated The Wallace Hill Inn with sister Elizabeth (Betty) and her family.

In 1984, Tom and Marge went south again, but settled in Nashua, NH, where they lived and worked and developed wonderful lifelong friendships. Marge enjoyed card games with grandchildren and friends and could play scrabble for hours with her longtime friend, Kathy Toomey. She also spent many hours chatting on the phone with sister, Betty. All of Marge’s family loved her infectious smile and kind spirit. She loved attending family gatherings and birthday parties. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will cherish those times at Fun World, the library activities and Benson’s Wild Animal Farm Museum among the many other fun activities she took them to. After retirement and the loss of her husband, Marge again generously served as a volunteer at a local food pantry.

Marjorie is survived by her children; Daughter, Theresa (Deary) and husband Jeffrey Winn of Littleton, NH; son, Thomas E. Deary and wife, Daisy, and son, Michael S. Deary of Nashua, NH. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren; Joseph Gray of Littleton, Jennine and Kyle McKenzie of Littleton, Jeremy Gray of Plymouth, NH and Julia and Chima of Charlotte, NC., Thomas Z. Deary of Florida, Tyler and Sharon Deary of Hudson, Ashley Deary of Nashua, Emily Rodriquez of Nashua, Arlene Rodriquez of NY, and Erik Betts of Concord. Marjorie had eight great-grandchildren. Her surviving siblings; Sandra R. D’Agositno and her husband Joseph of Wakefield, Elizabeth T. Lebrasseur of Plaistow, NH, Kathleen M. Ford and her husband John of Lynn, Raymond C. McClory and his wife Yoliet of NC, and Ruth S. Boltrushek of Lynn. Marge was the sister of the late John P. McClory, Jr, William J. McClory, Michael J. McClory, and Richard (Red) McClory.
