Sacramento, California - Beverly Barnes Deary, a cherished woman known for her kindness, warmth, and generosity, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 90. She was surrounded by the love, prayers, and comforting presence of her family.

Beverly is survived by her devoted children, Deborah Orebaugh (Paul), Michael Deary (Lori), Timothy Deary (Juliane), Shannon Deary-Bell (Bradley), and honorary son, Fred Links. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her 10 adoring grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Gaga." Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Donald Deary, as well as her dear brother, Philip Barnes.

Bev was born in Sacramento, CA on October 26, 1934 to parents George and Helen Barnes. She attended California Middle School and McClatchy High School, and during these years met the love of her life, Don, beginning a partnership and legacy that would span more than six decades.

In her younger years, Bev was an active member of the community through Sacramento Children's Home, 20-30 Club, Junior League of Sacramento, and the Mercy Guild, where she dedicated many hours as a volunteer. She and Don traveled extensively with business, family, and friends. She was also a member of Del Paso Country Club, where she enjoyed many rounds of golf and social gatherings.

Bev was always a "goer." If there was an event to attend, she would be there, radiating from the inside out. She greatly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, hosting dinner parties and happy hours on the patio, and putting together beautiful holiday celebrations. As an extremely devoted mother and grandmother, she always made the effort to attend every family event, including birthdays, graduations, weddings, and births. For Bev, staying deeply connected to her friends, kids, and grandkids wasn't just important, it was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her presence was truly special and will be deeply missed.

Beverly was tenderly held by her family in her final moments, and they will continue to hold her in their hearts, until they meet again.

A public visitation will be held at W.F. Gormley & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services for Beverly will be held at Holy Spirit Church on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

In Beverly's honor, donations may be made to Jenna & Patrick's Foundation of Hope or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
