Marjorie H. Esdale

Marjorie H. Esdale, age 83 of Chadds Ford, PA passed away on March 31st, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born to Wallace and Madeline Hornung Huebner in Drexel Hill, PA, she resided the past 62 years in Chadds Ford, PA, in her dream home that she built in 1961. Marjorie was an event planner and banquet manager for Harry's Savoy Grill Restaurant for over 20 years. In her younger years, she was a competitive diver and synchronized swimmer. She taught gymnastics and liked to swim and go skiing. Most of all, Marjorie loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Esdale, who passed on January 5, 2022, and her sisters, Barbara Ann Huebner, and Marion McConnell. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah G. Powell (John), son, Glenn Gilbert (Annette), grandchildren, Gloria, Adam, David, and Nicholas, and great grandchildren, Grayson, Gianna, Mason, and Noah. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
