Marjorie Faruolo, 89, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 15, 2025. She was born in Staten Island, NY, and later made her home in Monmouth County, where she lived for many years.
Marjorie worked as a Communications Operator for Transamerica. She enjoyed traveling, playing Scrabble, and card games, but above all, she cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Faruolo-Mattei (Al Pascale); her son, Joseph Faruolo; her granddaughter, Nicole Montalto-Zadroga and her husband Michael Zadroga; her grandson, Michael Montalto; and her great-grandchildren, Emily, Margo, Hayden, Maisie, and Aria. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Alfred Faruolo and his wife Sue; her cousins George Weiss and his wife Patricia, Ruth Culmone, Teresia Staben and her husband Ross, along with many more cousins, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.
Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Faruolo, and her best friends, Susan Punzone and Sandra Kenul.
A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary, Mother of God Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd., Middletown, NJ 07748.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
