Marjorie Gardner Obituary
Marjorie Louise Gardner, 75, of Albemarle County, died, Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
She was born in Albemarle County, January 8, 1935, to the late Herbert and Charlotte Copeland Gardner. Two brothers, Junius Gardner and Kenton Gardner preceded her in death.
She received her formal education in the Albemarle County School System and was a graduate of the National Business College. She was a dietary clerk and loved to sew and play the piano.
She leaves to cherish her memory a brother, Elliott J. Gardner Sr.; and a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at Zion Union Baptist Church, 1015 Preston Avenue, with Reverend Lloyd Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
