Bernie Gardner Obituary

Bernie earlier worked as a general manager for pizza restaurants in Jasper, Indiana, Owensboro, and Spring Hill, Florida. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a Chicago Bears fan, and enjoyed watching western movies, especially any with John Wayne.
Bernie was preceded in death by his wife, Joilyn Ashton Gardner, who died July 6, 2007.
Bernie is survived by two sons, Dale Forsythe and Andy Ashton (Amanda) of Calhoun; and 6 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 10, 2025 at Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Bernie's family.
