Born on May 24, 1956, in Lewisburg, Marjorie was the daughter of the late John A. and Dorothy L. (Ertel) Hackenberg.

She enjoyed gardening—especially growing herbs—traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She volunteered at RiverStage Community Theater in Lewisburg and enjoyed continuing her education by taking Bucknell University’s Lifelong Learning courses.
