Marjorie Kiehl Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schellhaas & Sons F.H. & Cremation Svcs., Inc. - Franklin Park on Sep. 18, 2024.
Marjorie W. "Margie" (Warne) Kiehl, age 79, of Wexford, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Allegheny Health Pavilion in Wexford.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas D. Kiehl. Loving mother of David Warne Kiehl and Christina Ellen Kiehl. Sister of Carol (late William) Egan, David (Lynn) Warne and the late John C. (late Florence) Warne. Aunt of Kathryn (Randy) Rubin and Claire (Sean F.) Nicolette; Great-Aunt of Sean D. Nicolette. Sister-in-law of James (Ellen) Kiehl.
A notorious hugger to all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, Aunt and friend to so many. Margie always cared so much about how others were doing and wanted to help them in any way she could. She deeply loved her children, always doing anything for them, from supporting her daughter in Girl Scouts (Troop 1131) to being a major contributor in the NA Football Booster group for her son. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, including many years of bowling leagues or playing in card clubs. She was well known in her East Barkhurst neighborhood for joining in the fun of water battles, games of trivial pursuit or backyard cookouts and wine mixers (which she also enjoyed in her last Wexford home as well).
Friends will be received on Monday, September 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford), where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Margie's name.
