We are sad to announce the passing of Marjorie A. Kirk of Windsor Locks, Conn. Marge passed away peacefully on October 10, 2023 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Marge was born in Hartford Conn. to the late Albert and Grace Dollak. She grew up in East Windsor, Conn and attended local schools and later went on to receive her bachelor's degree from Smith College in 1990. During that time Marge spent a year studying abroad at Oxford University in England. Marge enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, the beach and spending time with loved ones.
Marge leaves Bobbie Taravella. A daughter Paige Sweeney and her husband Jim McMahon. Two grandsons Erik Sweeney and Liam McMahon. Erik's father Sean Sweeney. Two beloved sisters Constance Hall and Kathy Siedlik and her husband Gary. She also leaves a very special sister-in-law Rosemary Dollak and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother William Dollak, a brother Corneilus (Butch) Dollak, a brother-in-law Buzz Hall and a very special niece Pamela Dollak Willson.
A special thank you to Hartford Health Care Hospice and Masonic Care staff for their compassion, care and kindness during her brief illness.
A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date at the convenience of her family.
