Marjorie (Margie) was born on November 24, 1939 in Brenham, Texas. She was the youngest of five children born to Willie and Mollie (Seilheimer) Drews. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, where she remained a faithful member her entire life. Margie grew up on a farm in the Longpoint community of Washington County, attending Hoddeville School. After she completed the eighth grade she moved on to Brenham High School, graduating in 1958. On March 12, 1961, Margie married Weldon Roy Krinke at Zion Lutheran Church. Margie and Weldon were blessed with three children: Kathy, Linda and Gary. They were married for 62 years, until Weldon passed away in 2023.
Margie worked as a seamstress at Nat's Tiny Tots until its closing, and then at Sealy Mattress, where she worked for 22 years until her retirement in 2001. Never afraid of hard work, she then took a job she always wanted in the kitchen of Brenham Junior High School, where she continued to work until her health forced her to finally retire in 2003.
Margie is survived by her son Gary Krinke and his wife Sherry; her daughter Kathy Blum and her husband Craig; granddaughter Audrey Blum Masters and her husband Cole; and her sisters-in-law, Elvera Drews, Delores Kuehn and Gertrude Krinke.
