Marjorie E Kujat

Marjorie Estelle Kujat, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was born March 26, 1932, to Joseph and Dovie Metcalfe in Tennessee.
After graduating from high school, she went on to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield as a supervisor. On March 17, 1951, Marjorie married the love of her life Robert Kujat at Brightmore Tabernacle Church. Robert and Marjorie had 73 wonderful years enjoying their life together and watching their family grow. Majorie enjoyed spending time outdoors in her gardening or trimming the grass.
Left to cherish Marjorie's memory are her husband, Robert; daughters, Theresa (Bill) Stacy, Charlotte (Gary) Laskowsky; brother, Jim Metcalfe; sister, Shirley (Dick) Layton; grandchildren, Amber, Kent, Austin, Robert (Kelly), Rachel (Don), Neil (Audrey); great-grandchildren, Jake, Meghan, Kaden, Tylee, Caiya, Travis, Nizhoni, Aidan and Athena. Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers, Ray, Wally, Joey, and sister, Melba.
Visitation for Marjorie will be Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. also from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Ron Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens.
