Robert Kujat

ADRIAN – Robert Kujat, age 92, of Adrian, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Springcreek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Adrian. He was born February 26, 1933, in Dearborn, to the late Joseph and Pearl (Schrock) Kujat. On March 17, 1951 at Brightmore Tabernacle Church, he married the love of his life, Marjorie Metcalfe, and she preceded him in death on July 6, 2024. Robert was a tool and die maker, retiring from General Motors after approximately 17 years of service.
Robert was a very handy person who could fix anything, and also raised pigeons – especially fancy pigeons. He had many loves in his life. Traveling to Florida in his Class A motorhomes, water skiing, fishing, and playing pool. He also was known for his ability to buy and sell old cars, and take those cars to shows.
Surviving is his daughter, Theresa (Bill) Stacy; son-in-law, Gary Laskowsky; grandchildren, Amber, Kent, Austin, Robert (Kelly), Rachel (Don), and Neil (Audrey); great-grandchildren, Jake, Meghan, Kaden, Tylee, Caiya, Travis, Nizhoni, Aidan, and Athena; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Laskowsky, on September 13, 2024; sisters, Irene, Dorothy, Florence, and Ev; and a brother, Joe.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 19, 2025, also at the funeral home, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Ron Sparks, officiating. Interment will follow at Lenawee County Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
