Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service - Fort PierceFaye Rhodes of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1934 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Roger and Doris Miltier.
Faye was raised in a loving home with many extended family in the local area that shaped the importance of family. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and went on to work at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard where she met, Clem, the love of her life. Clem and Faye were married for 71 years! Faye was a talented painter, jogger, singer, published author, President of the Ladies Club at LTV, knitter, home decorator, baker and party planner. She also loved telling inappropriate jokes too. Most of all, Faye was a great friend to all who met her and a dedicated mother.
Faye was predeceased by Clem and is survived by her sister Anne Lee McLendon, daughter Tracey Ellegiers, sons Craig (Darlene) Rhodes, Brett (Kristi) Rhodes, grandchildren Austin (Amanda) Rhodes, Cooper Rhodes, Courtney (Pat) Geromin and two great-grandchildren (with another on the way).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hearing Health Foundation or Tunnels to Towers.
