Marjorie Schieman

Marjorie Schieman, age 98, of Cheshire, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Elim Park Rehabilitation Center. She was the devoted wife of the late William Schieman for over 53 years until his passing in 1997. Marjorie was born on May 13, 1924 in Meriden, daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Rollins.
Marjorie had been a Cheshire resident for over 67 years. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marjorie enjoyed bird watching, quilting and was also a member of the Cheshire Grange.
Marjorie leaves behind her children, Lynne Bibber of North Haven, Eileen Hamel of Cheshire, Larry (Cindy) Schieman of Lyman, NH, Lyle (Maureen) Schieman of Plantsville and Karl (Karen) Schieman of Rocky Hill; her sister, Islla Yates; 9 loving grandchildren, 13 cherished great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Perkins; brother, Charles Rollins; sister, Janice Prigitano; brother, Clifford Rollins; sister, Rachel Shuler; and son-in-law, Paul Hamel.
