Marjorie Patricia Sossamon passed away on September 13, 2024. She was born on March 28, 1944, in Sweet Home, Arkansas. Marjorie retired from the Arkansas Plant Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hazel McFatridge, and a brother, Raymond McFatridge. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leroy Sossamon; son, Brian Sossamon (Terrie) of Benton; grandchildren, Bryce Sossamon and Kallyn McGee (Preston); and great-grandson, Colter McGee.
Marjorie was a beautiful woman who wore it with class. She was loved by everyone who met her and spent the time getting to know her.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Smith Benton Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Pipkin Cemetery.
