Marjorie graduated from Boonville High School where she was a Majorette in the band and was Homecoming Queen. She married Donald Wayne Strange on September 4, 1951, just before Wayne left for Korea while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Marjorie devoted her life to caring for her family and others, especially children. She enjoyed attending sporting events to watch her children or grandchildren play. She volunteered to support a variety of organizations over the years, including 4-H, Brownies, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the Boonville Food Pantry. Marjorie was a member of the First Baptist Church, Boonville and in her later years enjoyed checking out books from the church library. Gardening was another interest and she had gardens ranging from large vegetable gardens to smaller container gardening in more recent years. She was also a sports fan taking special interest in the MU Tigers, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Strange, her parents Morris and Ruby Stegner, and son-in-law, Bill Leimkuehler.

She is survived by her children: Mark Strange of Boonville, Tammi Leimkuehler of Marshall, Lori Strange (Joseph Walters) of Waddy, Kentucky, Sheri Mistele (Victor) of Oak Grove, Missouri; grandchildren Tara Leimkuehler, Scott Leimkuehler and one great-grandchild Rush William Leimkuehler.
