It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Louise Jamison Thompson, aged 100, who peacefully left us on September 23, 2025, at the David Simpson Hospice House, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on July 29, 1925, in Cleveland, Margie led a life filled with love, creativity, and a devotion to family and community.

Margie was a shining light in the lives of many, especially her children Suzanne (Suellen) Thompson, Sally Meek and Dale Thompson (Jr), her five grand-children: Terry L. Meek, Jr., Kimberly Tumlin, Dale Thompson, III, Andy Thompson, and Holly Thompson-and ten great-grandchildren. She shared over fifty-three years of a loving marriage with her husband, Dale, with whom she built not only a family but also treasured memories.

Margie's passions included her lifelong dedication to gardening and her enthusiasm for the Cleveland Indians, now known as the Guardians. Her creative spirit thrived as she attended the Cleveland Institute of Art: College of Art and Design, where she honed her artistic talents. During World War II, she served her country by working in an engineering lab at Wright Field, a testament to her intellect and commitment.

Margie was an accomplished creator, known for building and furnishing numerous dollhouses and two dollhouse villages, named Inchburg and Yesterville. She also crafted a delightful miniature Santa's Workshop, which brought joy to many as it was displayed in downtown Geneva storefronts for years, making the holiday season a bit brighter for the community.

A funeral service in her honor will be held on October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The United Church, 75 S. Broadway in Geneva. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery on Eastwood Street in Geneva, Ohio.

Marjorie Louise Jamison Thompson leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her. As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, may we find comfort in the memories we cherish and the love she shared so generously.

Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Thompson, Sr., and her parents, Thomas and Hazel Jamison, and five older siblings. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Geneva is assisting the family at this time. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com
