WHITE, Marjorie Diane - age 70 of Flushing, died December 12, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Rev. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday, December 18, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Tuesday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org/). Marjorie was born January 17, 1953, in Flint, the daughter of Michael Stephen and Margaret (Robeson) Pajtas. She married Ronald White on August 23, 1975, in Bay City. Marjorie has a master's degree in education. She was a teacher at Elsa Meyer Elementary School in Corunna for 27 years where she taught third and fifth grades retiring in 2019. She was a devout Catholic, loved fishing with her husband, gardening, flowers and crafts. Most of all she loved being called Nana and spent her retirement tutoring her grandson and granddaughter. Surviving are: husband, Ronald White; four children, Tarah White of Lapeer, Heather (Elijah) Tobin of Davisburg, Robyn White of Highland, and Stephen White of Holly; two grandchildren, Fisher Van Tobin and Paisley Anne Tobin; five siblings, Carol Moore of Eastport, Richard (Dana) Pajtas of Charlevoix, Kathryn (Nick) Yaklin of Bay City, Michael Pajtas of Manistee, and Barbara (Kurt) Conklin of Flushing. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Michael and Margaret Pajtas; sister, Joanne Buckley; and brother, Robert Pajtas. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
