Mark A. Agbanlog

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark A. Agbanlog, who departed this life on August 3, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 39. Born on April 21, 1986, Mark was a dedicated family man, a respected professional, and a cherished friend.

Mark served with honor for 18 years as an LCAC Navigator in the U.S. Navy. His commitment to his work and his country was unwavering, and he was known for his steadfast dedication and professionalism.

In his personal life, Mark was a true "Jack of All Trades," often found fixing cars and working as a mechanic. His passion for understanding and repairing machinery was matched only by his love for riding motorcycles, and he enjoyed being a member of a motorcycle club where he formed lasting friendships.

Mark was preceded in death by his beloved mother-in-law, Merced R. Jones; his sister, Marlene Arsen A. Agbanlog; and his grandmother, Carmille Atoigue. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer M. Agbanlog, and their six children: Trey Agbanlog, Tristen Agbanlog, Mylee Agbanlog, Myana Agbanlog, Myelli Agbanlog, and Myla-Jean Agbanlog. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Carmen A. Costelo, and his sister, Marilyn A. Layton, along with her husband, James.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Mark are invited to gather in his memory. A service will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory. Mark's life was a testament to dedication, love, and resilience, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
