Mark J. Bailey, 62, of Kingston passed away in the comfort of his home on October 13, 2025. Born March 11, 1963, he was the son of the late Robert and Albertina (Hornbeck) Bailey.

Mark served in the U.S. Army from November 1981- September 1990. In his civilian life, he worked as a store manager at WalMart. He enjoyed traveling to many different countries and states. He enjoyed sitting by the beach with a nice cocktail in hand. He loved cooking. We will cherish him creating new recipes and recreating old ones as well as how amazing his cooking was. He loved meeting new people. He will be remembered for being outgoing and having welcoming arms to anyone he met. Mark enjoyed telling stories about his life and experiences he has been through. His greatest joy in life was being a father.

Mark is survived by his daughters Elysia M. Bailey and Alana J. Bailey, his sister Cindy VanSteenburg and her husband Russell, nieces and nephews: Shawn VanSteenburg, Amanda VanSteenburg, and Marissa DeLeon, and his great-niece Briella VanSteenburg.

Mark is predeceased by his brothers Robert Bailey, Jr., Gary Bailey, and Alan Bailey. He is also predeceased by his dogs Nikki and Mischief.
