Mark Anthony Beasley, Sr., 66 of Adairsville, Georgia heard the voice of his Savior, and went home to his Heavenly Father on November 30, 2024 after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Gordon County, on February 13, 1958 to the late John Simuel Beasley, Sr. and Annie Margaret Lott Beasley. Mark attended and graduated from Adairsville High School. He loved football, track, and basketball, which he played and also lettered in.
After high school, Mark joined the United States Air Force, where he served four years and eight months. He was Honorably Discharged on August 10, 1982. After serving his country, Mark lived in North Carolina, where he became a husband and father, which was his greatest love and joy; Mark was happiest when he could tell anyone about his daughter and son.
Later in life, Mark moved back to Georgia, he was last employed at TI Automotive, where he worked until his health would not allow him to work any longer.
Mark loved sports, he loved to debate politics, he was an avid reader, there wasn't much he didn't know about; Mark's home was the gathering place for his, brothers, nephews and friends to gather. Mark loved life. To his friends, he was "Twain". He had a special place in his heart for his nephews and nieces.
To his siblings, he has always been "Pooky". He was the brother who always kept us laughing, would do anything in he world for us, always took time to call us everyday, and he was the brother who showed us how to have courage and never give up.
His love of Jesus was his strength, as his body failed him, his Faith grew stronger and his desire to live became heavenly. Our Pooky's life was such a part of our life, and he will never be forgotten.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, John Simuel Beasley, Sr. and Annie Margaret Lott Beasley; sister, Vera Nadine Beasley Lynn; brothers, Pastor John Simuel Beasley, Jr., Victor Ramone Beasley, Sr. and Ted Mitchell Beasley.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Brittany Michelle Beasley Kenney (son-in-law Chadwick Kenney) and son, Mark Anthony Beasley, Jr; Holly Dawson Beasley (children's mother); granddaughter, Nevaeh Michelle Kenney; grandson, Chadwick Travor Kenney, Jr. all of North Carolina; loving stepmother, Patricia Beasley of Adairsville, Georgia; brothers, William David Beasley (Kathy), Oklahoma City, OK; Patrick Gabriel Beasley (Tammy), Kingston, Georgia; sisters, Josephine Beasley Gardner (Matthew), Cartersville, Georgia, Traci Vanessa Beasley, Adairsville, Georgia, Davol Leigh Beasley, Cartersville, Georgia ; stepbrother, Tim Davis (Kathy), Calhoun, Georgia; stepsister, Paula Allen (Steve), Calhoun, Georgia; sister-in-laws, Stephanie Beasley, Teresa Beasley both of Adairsville, Georgia, Theresa Woods, Deborah Allen-Sherrod, and Sharon Allen; special aunt, Margaret Gary of Gary, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

We met in Goldsboro, NC in the late 70's when he was stationed at Seymour. We became friends instantly, his smile was infectious and wisdom was unmatched. Love him then, love him now and will always love him. Rest well my friend, Linda Hammond
