In Loving Memory of Mark Anthony Blankenship (Age 45)
Mark Anthony Blankenship, 45, of
Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grounded in the unshakable hope of heaven and the promise of eternal life through Christ.
Mark was a devoted Christian, a loving husband, and an extraordinary father. His faith shaped every part of his life-guiding how he loved, how he led, and how he served those around him. He lived with quiet strength, deep conviction, and an unwavering commitment to his family.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Lauren, and their two cherished daughters, Morgan and Madelyn, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was a constant presence-steadfast, protective, and deeply invested in their futures. His legacy will live on through the values, faith, and love he poured into his girls every day.
He is also survived by his parents, James and Pam Blankenship, and his brother Jim Blankenship, along with Jim's wife Tanya and their son Landon, whom Mark adored as his nephew.
Mark found great joy in time with his family and in his passion for cars, especially his prized Saleen Mustang and other vehicles. Whether under the hood or behind the wheel, he found peace and happiness in craftsmanship and performance-qualities that reflected his own character.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mark will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at Five Stones Church. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, gratitude, and worship as we honor and remember a life well lived and a faith well finished.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider supporting Morgan and Madelyn's educational future through the GoFundMe established in their honor.

Though we grieve deeply, we do not grieve without hope. We rejoice in knowing that Mark is now whole, restored, and home-reunited with his Savior and awaiting the day we will meet again.
