Mark was born on April 22, 1977, in Elyria, Ohio, to Lawrence "Larry" and Carol (Maddock) Blaser. Mark graduated from Elyria High School in 1995 and went on to attend Tiffin University, where he proudly played on the football team.
Professionally, Mark built a successful career as a senior customer support manager for a variety of providers and since 2016, was a valued member of the Motorola team.
In January of 2019, Mark's life was forever changed when he began dating Kelly Craig. The two quickly realized they had found their lifelong partner. Together, they purchased 40 acres in Buchanan, which Mark fondly called his "40 acres of freedom," and began building their dream home. On June 28, 2025, Mark and Kelly were married in South Bend, Ind., celebrating the love and life they had built together.
Wherever Mark went, he was truly the life of the party. He lived with intention, making sure to surround himself with people and experiences that brought joy and purpose. Mark's humor, caring nature and zest for life made every moment feel meaningful.
Mark's passions were many – he loved golfing, cooking, trying new foods and tending to his garden of fruits and vegetables. A proud Ohio State fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on the Buckeyes. Some of his happiest times were spent in Apalachicola, Fla., where he enjoyed fishing and indulging in fresh oysters.
Mark will be remembered for the love he shared, the laughter he inspired and the way he lived life fully, valuing quality over quantity.
Mark is survived by his parents: Larry and Carol Blaser; loving wife, Kelly Craig; children: Marshall Blaser of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Catherine (Ryan) Herzog of Ashland, Ohio; siblings: Michelle (Craig) Counts and Michael Blaser; father- and mother-in-law: Jay and Deb Craig; brother-in-law, Kristopher (Amanda) Craig and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
