Mark Alan Borel

As we grieve, Heaven is rejoicing as another child of God comes Home.

Mark Alan Borel, age 71, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away on April 25, 2025.

Mark was the son of the late Howard Borel, Jr. and Anne Cosky Borel was born in Beverly, NJ on August 17, 1953.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanne Goodwin Borel; three brothers, Howard "Buddy" Borel, III and his wife, Rosemary, Stephen Borel, and Michael Borel and his wife, Lisa; three sisters, Anne Marie Bluhm and her husband, Keith, Mary Anne Zaner and her husband, John, and Rose Mary Borel. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Mark drove truck for many years. Later in his career he became an Office Manager for Penn's Best Trucking. He went on to start his own lawn care business, Jus' Mowin' and Mark's Classic Detailing. Later moving his businesses to Beverly Hills, FL where he eventually retired.

He served in the Army Reserves for six years. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 237 in Beverly Hills, FL where he served as Chaplain and Commander. He loved to ride his Harley and was a member of the Legion's Rider Group.

He will be missed. His heart was Joanne's home for 49 years.

Abiding by Mark's wishes, services will be private and burial will take place at the St. Joachim's Cemetery in Meshoppen, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mark's name to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
