Lafayette: The Celebration of Life for Roselia Borel will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church. The visitation will begin at 9am followed the funeral service at 11am.
Roselia Tolivour Borel, a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully entered eternal rest on April 2, 2025, at the age of 69.
Born on May 26, 1955, to the late Farris and Eva Willis Tolivour. Roselia was a woman of strength, compassion, and deep love for her family
Roselia's legacy lives on through her husband: Jospeh Borel Sr, loving children: Sons- Joseph Borel Jr (Lori) of Lafayette, La, Redford Borel (Yvette) of Cibolo, Tx, Dylan Charles of Lafayette, La and Daughter Alimae Borel of Spring, TX. Sisters: Nola Angelle, Diane Lewis, Martha Tolivour and Catherine Williamsand Brother Walter Tolivour all of Lafayette, La.
She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren and great-grandmother to six great grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Roselia was preceded in death by her parents, Farris Sr. and Eva Willis Tolivour; her beloved sisters Dorothy Cormier, Juanita Harris, and Rita Tolivour and brothers, Louis, Henry, Farris Jr, Floyd, Adam, and Jeffrey Tolivour. A great granddaughter Ma'lani Comeaux.
Roselia's life was a testament to love. family, and resilience. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
