Mark Daniel Broussard, lovingly known as Mark, left this world peacefully on March 16, 2025, at the impressive age of 87. Born to this world on August 1, 1937, in Longview, Tx, Mark was a man of remarkable compassion and humility. His heart always pulsated with an unending love for his family and loved ones, a trait that defined his life. His life was a testament to the words of Maya Angelou, "I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver."
Mark's supportive nature shone brightly in his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His children Mark Jr., Susan, Charlie, and Adam, his sister Pat, and his numerous grand and great-grandchildren, survive him, each carrying a piece of his legacy in their hearts. Mark's life was enriched by their presence, as he was by theirs. He was a man who believed that "A large family is my reward," a sentiment he expressed in his will.
Mark wasn't a man who sought elaborate memorials or grand gestures. He was a man of simple tastes, humble in every aspect. In his own words, he lived a good life, and was blessed with great children and a good woman for a wife, the late Ruby Broussard. He believed in the value of living a life full of love and giving, and it is this humble, loving spirit that we celebrate today.
As we remember Mark, his family encourages all who knew him to visit his online memorial page. There, you are invited to share memories, stories, and photos that capture the essence of the compassionate, supportive, humble, and loving man that Mark Broussard was. These shared moments will become a living testament to a life filled with love and generosity. Goodbye with all our love, Mark. Your legacy lives on in us.
