Emken-Linton Funeral Home & CremationsFilomena Loflin was called home on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 95, closing a long and meaningful chapter of a life lived through many seasons. Filomena was born on May 4, 1930, in Rochester, New York to the late Frances (Innuzzi) Caselli and Louis Caselli.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Loflin; her daughter, Frances McGuire; her son, James Loflin Jr.; her great-grandson, Ezekiel Manuel; as well as her parents and siblings.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience in her surviving family: her children Mary Ferguson and Joseph Loflin; her grandchildren Jodie, Dawn, Charles, and Sarah; her great-grandchildren Manuel Jr., Kimberly, Anjelica, Shawn, Michael, Shane, Tiffany, Jennifer, Tony, Malachi, and Ayden; and her great-great-grandchildren Isaias, Josiah, Theo, Manuel III, Magnolia, Gracie, her namesake Filomena, and Emberlyn.
Filomena's life touched many. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Through seasons of joy and sorrow, she remained a steady presence-her strength and love weaving generations together.
May she now rest in peace and may those who carry her memory forward find comfort, courage, and connection in the legacy she leaves behind.
A memorial service Celebrating Filomena's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, in Texas City.
