Maryem Alyne Holt, 95, of Texas City, passed away on October 17, 2025, in a nursing home in San Antonio. Maryem (Siebel) was born on October 28, 1929, in Carmine, Texas. She was married to William Clifton Holt, Sr., for 61 years. They had five "active" boys; ten grandkids and eighteen great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff, and three sons: Mike, Boyd (Bubba), and Tim. She is survived by her oldest sons: Bill Holt and his wife, Jeanne and David Holt and his wife, Jo Lynn.
Maryem (aka Mom or Granny) was a faithful, caring and unselfish wife, mother and grandmother. Most importantly, she hoped that her family would follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and she demonstrated this by considering other people (especially her family) to be more important than herself. Thanks Mom, you did great!
