Mark Thomas Bueno, Emporia, Kansas, died December 24, 2025, at his home. He was 51 years old.
Mark was born on April 30, 1974, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Bernard and Debbie (Tabares) Bueno.
Survivors include son Dawson Taylor Hill Bueno, Emporia, Kansas; daughter Salena (Leobardo Castillo) Rodriguez, Emporia, Kansas; brothers Bernard (Beth Blosson) “BJ” Bueno Jr.; Rusty Bueno, Emporia, Kansas; grandchildren Yandel Castillo-Rodriguez, Leobardo Castillo-Rodriguez, Roman Castillo-Rodriguez, Emporia, Kansas; niece Elodie Bueno; nephews Emmanuel Bueno, Quinton Bueno, Bentley Bueno and Lukas Cope.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Margaret Tabares, Trinidad and Nancy Bueno, uncle Frank Tabares Jr., aunts Linda Adams and Regina Bueno.
He was a great son, dad, papa, and friend. He was a great person who will be truly missed. He was always looking out for everyone and making sure everyone was good. He was the best.
The Rosary will be recited Monday, January 5, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, 605 State Street, Emporia, Kansas, 66801. A visitation will follow the rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 27 Cottonwood Street, Emporia, Kansas, 66801. Interment will take place following the service at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery.
