Mark Allen Carroll, age 67, of Pratt, Kansas, passed away March 11, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. Mark was born February 8, 1958, in Pittsburg, Kansas, to William Carroll and Margaret "Peg" (Diskin) Beech.
Mark graduated in 1976 from Iola High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, along with his best friend Joe Hicks, and he served for three years. Mark then attended Oklahoma Tech, earning an associate degree in diesel mechanics.
Mark and Janice Sigg were married August 9, 1984, in Lovington, New Mexico. Mark worked in the gas industry, serving in various positions, retiring as superintendent of natural gas construction operations. He loved his career.
Mark enjoyed hunting and cooking his famous homemade lasagna and rigatoni. He loved visiting his children and attending his grandkids sporting events. He also loved "messin around in the shop" and watching motor sports. Mark was known for his lively conversations and staying in touch with everyone.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret (Peg) and Paul Beech, and William Carroll.
Mark is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Daniel (Rebekah) Potter, Kristi Holland; grandchildren, Wyatt Holland, Khloe Holland, Lincoln Potter, Lawson Potter; siblings, Steve Carroll, Charlotte (Jim) Smardo, John (Kim) Carroll; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Catholic Church, Iola, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Gas, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, & Tourism, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
