Wilma Carroll

Wilma Jean Dunn Carroll, 91, of Benton, departed this life peacefully at her home on March 26, 2026.

She was born on February 18, 1935, in Cleveland, to the late Fred and Gertie Officer Dunn.

Throughout life, she enjoyed long rides and sitting on the porch. Loved by those who knew her and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Fred and Gertie Dunn, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andy Carroll; stepson, Andy Lee Carroll, Jerry Carroll and John William Carroll; one stepdaughter, Eva Graham.

Left to cherish the many memories include her one son, Randy (Angie) Carroll; two daughters, Sharon (Danny) Gourley and Wanda Evans. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Moore’s Chapel, with Pastor Carl Haulk officiating. Her family will serve as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at Higgins Funeral Home.
