In Loving Memory of Mark Arnold Christensen
Mark Arnold Christensen was born on March 6, 1997, in Payson, Utah. He is the beloved son of Lance and Virginia Christensen, cherished brother to Taylor Watts, and the best uncle to Miles and Lena—along with many others who affectionately called him "Uncle." Known by nicknames like Marky, Vert, and "Uncle MAAARRKK," Mark’s personality was as vibrant and unforgettable as the adventures he lived.
From a young age, Mark had a passion for the outdoors. Camping, four-wheeling, and fishing were regular family adventures, and he thrived in every moment spent in nature. That love of exploration stayed with him throughout his life.
Mark spent several years working as an auto mechanic at Jer’s Elite Automotive, a job he loved and where he formed lasting friendships. He found joy in many things—fishing (with Steven Swaner), gaming, and cruising on his motorcycle with Zack Ricker and Dakota Yoshimura. No matter where he went or what he did, Mark brought warmth, humor, and loyalty. He had a rare gift of making everyone feel like a close friend.
Mark is survived by his loving parents, Lance and Virginia Christensen; his sister, Taylor Watts, and her husband, Jason Watts; his adored nephew, Miles, and niece, Lena; and his grandparents, Howard and Marion Christensen. He is deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the joy of knowing him.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stood by Mark and our family during this time. A special thank-you to Dakota Yoshimura for organizing Mark’s “Final Ride”—we know Mark would be touched beyond words.
Please join us for a “Final Ride” at 12:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 3rd, at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S., Roy, Utah 84067. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30-1:30 PM before the services.
