BOTKINS - Mark Edward Cisco, 58, of Botkins, passed away 8:00 p.m., Mon. Sept. 30, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born March 21, 1966, in Sidney, OH, the son Donnie & Sharon (Paul) Cisco, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 10, 1987, he married Sherry M. Hemmert, who survives. Other survivors include, 4 children, Clarissa (Chad) Leffel, Spencerville, OH, Nate (Courtney) Cisco, Wapakoneta, OH, Faith Cisco (Zane Egbert) Botkins, OH, Isaac Cisco, Botkins, OH, 5 grandchildren, Cash, Cain, and Carter Leffel, Mia and Bodie Cisco, a brother, Tom (Angie) Cisco, Dawsonville, GA, brother and sisters-in-law, Shirley Ellinger, Paulette Fisher, Edie Huelskamp, Ann Vehorn, Dan (Carol) Hemmert, Donna (Jeff) Silver,
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Tom Cisco; father and mother-in-law, Elmo (Ruberta) Hemmert; and 4 brothers-in-law, Bob Ellinger, Jim Fisher, Dave Huelskamp, and Larry Vehorn.
Mark retired from Thieman Tailgates, Celina, OH, after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, and a life member of Shelby County Right to Life. He was a member of the Botkins Community Club and a 1984 graduate of Sidney High School. Mark coached various sports that his children were involved in and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Fri. Oct. 4, 2024, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, Fr. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Botkins. The family will receive family and friends from 4-8 p.m., Thurs. and 9-10 a.m., Fri, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. Memorial contributions may be directed to Shelby County Right to Life. Condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeandcrematory.com.
