Mark Edward Decker

Mark Decker, age 61, of Villa Park. Beloved husband of Barbara Decker, nee Roubal; loving father of Rebbekah (Samuel) Beals, Kierstynn Decker, Iain Decker, Kaleb Decker; dear son of the late Leonard and Lorriane Decker; devoted grandfather of Silas, Westin and Eden, bonus grandchildren Micheal, Wisdom, and Danielle; fond brother of Lynn (Peter) Bastuk; loving son-in-law to the late Richard and Mary Roubal; loving brother in law of James Roubal, Martin (Karen) Roubal, Charles Roubal, Donald (Rose) Roubal, Margaret (Tom) Heminsley, Therese Roubal, the late Catherine Whelan, the late Robert (Jan Marie) Roubal; uncle of Timothy (Michelle) Wheeler, Elizabeth, Rachel, and Sarah and many others.
Mark worked as a machinist for over 35 years and volunteered for the Bellwood Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management since 2016. In 2021 Mark joined the DuPage County OHSEM Com U as a communications reservist. He was a Ham Radio operator (KD9DJX) and a part of the Wheaton Community Radio Amateurs where he participated in many public events. Marks's genuine love of people and service to others will be sorely missed.
Memorial Gathering August 19th, 10:00 am until time of service at 11am, at GospeLife Church, 600 Kuhn Rd Carol Stream, IL 60188. Interment Private.
