Mark Anthony Delgado, 64 entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2023.
Mark was born in Santa Barbara, CA on February 10, 1959. He graduated from Cabrillo High School, located in Lompoc California in 1978. Soon after high school graduation he enlisted and joined the United States Army to proudly serve his country. Mark married Irma Rey in 1997. They lovingly shared their life together for 26 years.
Mark worked and retired from Pride Industries located in El Paso, Texas. Marks greatest passion was the study of Torah and serving His Creator. The love he had for his family and friends was greatly demonstrated by an unconditional love, good stewardship and a big serving heart. Marks greatest pride, and joy was his family, and he cherished the life he shared with Irma Rey as they walked together hand in hand even during hard challenges.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents; Michael and Annie Chavez Delgado, his son Mark (Markie) Jr Delgado, daughter Cynthia Yanagi and granddaughter Ashley N. Calanche, Sister Annette D. Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, daughters Stephanie Delgado, Yvette Hickey, Nancy Rodriguez; sons Paul Delgado and Oscar Calanche; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. His siblings: Michael Delgado, Ida Aguilar, Veronica Grijalva, Rick Delgado and Ray Delgado.

REST IN PEACE
Visitation 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Chapel Service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. A reception will follow from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Homes - West, 480 N. Resler.
