Publish in a newspaper

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother, Mark Dixon, 69, of St. Albans, WV, on October 17, 2025.

Mark was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and had a successful career as a Master Carpenter. In his leisure time, he was actively involved with various pool leagues in the Kanawha Valley; with fond memories of the National Championship tournaments, Las Vegas, in which he competed. Mark was so proud of and found continued joy in his nieces and nephews. He was quiet about his feelings, but loved to be with his family.

Mark is survived by his three sisters, Sharon Hylton (Mark) of Mineral Wells, WV, Cynthia Dixon of Alum Creek, WV, and Teresa Good (John) of Kenna, WV.

He is also survived by 6 nieces and Nephews, Nathaniel Good (Jessee) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Audrey Hylton of Parkersburg WV, Matthew Good (Cassandra) of Den Haag, Holland, Matthew Hylton, Sarah Dixon of Alum Creek, Heather King (Bobby) of Alum Creek, WV, two great nieces Skylar and Josie King and one great nephew Jack Milligan.

His memory will live on through the stories and laughter we share.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV.

Memorial donations may be submitted in Mark's honor to the American Parkinson Disease Association, support.apdaparkinson.org .
