Mark Dowling, a member of the Sebring community, passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on January 12, 1963, in Passaic, New Jersey, Mark's journey through life was marked by his dedication to his work and the cherished relationships he nurtured along the way.
Most rescently Mark worked as a vital part of the maintenance department at Copeland Oaks in Sebring, Ohio, where his skills and dedication were widely respected. He was known for his remarkable ability to fix almost anything he was given, showcasing a talent for mechanics that brought a sense of pride and satisfaction to his daily work.
Outside of his career, Mark embraced various hobbies that spoke to his love for nature and craftsmanship. He found joy in watching birds, spending time outdoors, and was particularly passionate about working on cars-a pursuit that highlighted his hands-on approach to life. Those who knew him appreciated his willingness to tackle challenges, both in his work and in the projects he took on in his free time.
Mark is survived by his long-time companion, Rosemarie Princess Von Coburg, who stood by his side through many of life's adventures. He is also cherished by his siblings: brothers Shawn, Kelly, Jeff, and David Dowling, and sister Lisa Dowling. Together with his family, Mark's spirit will continue to resonate through the lives he touched.
Mark also leaves behind his parents Roger and Louann Dowling as well as Rosemarie's son, David Bush, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. His commitment to his work, his love for the outdoors, and the warmth he brought to relationships with family and friends will be fondly remembered.
Per his request cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel. (330) 938-2526.
